Description
This 42 quart fryer/steamer stock pot from Bayou Classic really comes in handy when you want to boil, steam, or fry large quantities of seafood, soup, vegetables, French fries, and a host of other delicious meals. The pot sits 15 3/8 inches high and has a diameter of 14 1/8 inches. A perforated boil basket comes with the pot and makes for easy straining of water or oil after cooking. The aluminum composition of these containers also makes them easy to clean and maintain. This set also comes with a vented lid. Be careful if using on an indoor stove top as the unit may be too big for reasonable use.

Hosting 40 people for a Low Country Boil -- What pot would be best?
It depends on what all is being cooked at the same time. I would suggest an 80-100-qt pot. Maybe larger. You may want to cook several batches.
